Lauren Graham

Hi there! I'm Lauren, and I'm currently in my second year at the University of Otago, where I'm studying a Bachelor of Pharmacy.

I grew up in Christchurch, and attended Rangi Ruru Girls' School, where I was involved in many aspects of high school life, especially academics, sport, and community service. In my final year at Rangi Ruru, I tutored two Year 9 Cantamaths teams, which involved working on practice questions as well as helping the students to work successfully as a team. Watching each student improve each week was incredibly rewarding and fuelled my passion for tutoring and helping other students to succeed. Academically, I achieved NCEA Levels 1, 2, and 3 with excellence endorsements, as well as being honoured to receive the PTA Prize for Consistent Work in Year 12, and 1st in Level 3 Accounting in 2024. I am a big believer that hard work will always get you much further than talent, and that by putting in the work, every student can succeed!

In my spare time I enjoy playing netball, going on runs or to the gym, reading, baking, and spending time outdoors, especially at the beach or on a hiking trip. I’m confident tutoring Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Calculus, and Accounting up to Level 3, as well as Year 9 – 11 Maths and Science.
