Marcus read

Hello, my name is Marcus. I am a 4th year student at the University of Otago currently studying Sustainable Energy in the Physics Department. My undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science majoring in Energy Science and Technology and Mathematics.

I went to High School at Logan Park for Year 11-13 and Nelson College for Year 9-10. I worked hard to achieve highly in Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics and excelled in Biology and Physical Education, winning prizes in both. Whilst at school I balanced competitive sport, study and Prefect responsibilities.

I understand how to support students in achieving strong academic results, even when they are balancing other priorities. I also know what it takes to excel academically and how to guide others toward reaching their full potential.

I believe every student has the ability to succeed at High School with the right support and guidance. I am confident tutoring all three Sciences - Chemistry, Physics and Biology, as well as all branches of Mathematics up to Level 3.
