Georgia Chrisp
Kia ora, I’m Georgia. I am currently in my third year studying Medicine at the University of Otago. I am originally from Tauranga, where I attended Tauranga Girls’ College until Year 12, before moving to Wānaka to attend Mount Aspiring College’s Outdoor Pursuits Hostel Programme.
During my time at school, I endorsed NCEA Levels 1 and 2 with Excellence and Level 3 with Merit, along with Excellence endorsements in subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, and English. I have also been a volunteer tutor and hockey coach for many years, and I have a Diploma in Communications from Trinity College London. These results, along with my experience in a hostel and previous tutoring/coaching experience, have strengthened my knowledge and study skills, enabling me to create engaging and educational experiences for all students.
Outside of the classroom, I love all things outdoors, including skiing, diving, hiking, running, and hockey. I am a strong advocate for balance and believe it is key to overall success.
I am excited to offer my tutoring services and share my knowledge to help students feel more confident in their studies and achieve their academic goals. I am happy to tutor Years 9–11 Maths and Science, NCEA Level 1–2 Statistics and Physics, NCEA Level 3 Economics, and NCEA Level 1–3 Biology and Chemistry.
