Pascale Bowie

Hi! My name is Pascale Bowie. I am in my third year of a Bachelor of Science at the University of Canterbury. My major is Biology and my minor is Statistics. I am very excited to offer my tutoring services to secondary school students so they can build confidence and expertise in their studies.

I am from Wellington, but I was a full boarder at Whanganui Collegiate School from Year 9-13. At school I had a divided focus between my academics, sport and music. My NCEA achievements include excellence endorsing NCEA level 1 and 2 and merit endorsing NCEA level 3. My subject endorsements with excellence were in English, Physical Education, Biology and subject endorsements with merit were in Statistics. I initially decided to study Biology and Statistics at university because I excelled at them in school, but my degree has now given me a real passion for the health of humans and the environment.

I am confident tutoring Year 9-11 Maths, English and Science; Level 2 English; and up to Level 3 Biology, Statistics and PE. When I am not focusing on my studies, I compete in Track and Field for the University of Canterbury in summer and Cross country in the winter. I also play bass guitar, enjoy reading, watching movies and socializing with my flat mates.
