Liam Blackford

Hey there! My name is Liam Blackford, and I’m heading off to the United States to study business and operations management at university. I completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma at Kristin School, where I was the head of my school’s weightlifting club and a part of my school’s sports committee. I am a two-time national fencing and powerlifting champion, still holding the record for the U16 Bench Press.

When tutoring, I hope to make tutoring effective but fun, as this was my key to success. I also really want to connect to my students’ passions to try to convey the often complex theories and concepts. For IB students, I offer tutoring for IB Math AA SL (DP1), IB Physics HL, IB Business HL and IB Psychology HL. For NCEA students, I can tutor Math and physics up to year 11, and can teach psychology and business studies to year 13.
