Haruki Miyata

Hi! My name is Haruki and I am a second-year Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Commerce Conjoint student studying at the University of Auckland, with a GPA of 7.769. My majors are Accounting, Economics and Finance, and I am also studying Japanese. I have achieved A+ in all my Mathematics and Japanese courses and achieved between A- and A+ for all my Accounting and Economics courses. I graduated from Auckland Grammar School in 2024, completing my Cambridge International AS and A Levels. My extracurricular interests include football, where I was a member of the 2024 AGS First XI Football Team, winning a NZ Secondary Schools National Football Tournament, and also futsal, table tennis and tennis.

I am a passionate tutor with the goal of creating a comfortable, fun learning environment that helps students feel confident and excel academically. I am able to tutor Accounting and Economics up to NCEA Level 3 and Cambridge AS Level. I can also tutor Mathematics up to NCEA Level 1 and Cambridge IGCSE. Additionally, I am able to tutor Japanese up to NCEA Level 3. I aim to enhance students’ critical thinking so they can reach their full potential through student-tailored lessons.
