Phoebe Riddle

Kia Ora! I’m Phoebe, and I’m currently studying towards my Master of Criminology at Victoria University of Wellington. I completed my bachelor’s degree last year, majoring in Criminology and Philosophy. I grew up in Wellington, attending Onslow College in my high school years and was involved in Football and Futsal. I also have always loved writing and enjoyed subjects such as English and Classics.

I have done a range of different jobs working with kids throughout the years, including swim coaching, in which I mainly worked with older kids and teenagers, as well as helping out at an early childcare education centre. These experiences have helped me learn the best ways

to work with kids and teenagers, and that everyone learns differently, so one set plan is not going to work for everyone. This has made me adaptable and given me the ability to work with a wide range of students. I am best equipped to tutor English, History and Classics at any age level and can also teach numeracy at years 9 and 10 in high school.

Outside of university, I love to get outdoors, whether that’s going for a run or doing a hike in the beautiful Wellington bush. I also play social football and love a good gym session.
