Li-Na Chapman
Kia ora, my name is Li-Na Chapman. I’m currently a second-year student at the University of Otago studying Law and Commerce, majoring in Finance.
I graduated from St Margaret’s College in 2024 after completing the International Baccalaureate Diploma, having earlier achieved Excellence in the Foundation Diploma (which replaced NCEA Level 1). Throughout high school, I was actively involved in tutoring and mentoring, and I’ve always loved helping others reach those “lightbulb” moments. Being patient, encouraging, and understanding has allowed me to work confidently with both peers and younger students.
I’m excited to offer my tutoring services to support students in reaching their personal goals while building confidence in their abilities. Tutoring alongside my university studies feels like a meaningful way to give back to the academic communities that shaped me.
I am happy to tutor both NCEA and IB students and am confident teaching the following subjects:
IB: Maths AA SL, History SL/HL, English SL, Economics SL/HL
NCEA/General: Calculus, Statistics, Economics, and English (up to Level 1)
I would love to support students in achieving their goals and growing in confidence in their learning.
