Ana Sleghel

Kia ora, I’m Ana, a first-year Engineering student at the University of Canterbury. I’m passionate about helping students build their confidence and understanding, and I love seeing things finally click for them!

I’m from Christchurch and attended Cashmere High School, where I achieved NCEA Level 3 with Excellence, Excellence Endorsements at Levels 1, 2 and 3, and multiple subject endorsements. I was also a Prefect, which helped me develop my communication and leadership skills. 

I currently tutor students Y9-11 in Maths, English and Science along with Calculus, Biology, English, and Economics to NCEA Level 3. I aim to create a friendly, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.

Outside of university and tutoring, I enjoy tennis, volleyball, going to the gym, sewing, and spending time with friends and family. I look forward to supporting students in reaching their goals and becoming more confident in their learning!
