Ayesha Patel

Hello! My name is Ayesha Patel, and I am currently completing my Master of Professional Accounting at the University of Auckland Business School. I am a dedicated and enthusiastic learner who believes that with the right support, every student can enjoy learning and achieve results they are proud of. Outside of my studies, I love traveling, trying local cuisines, reading novels, and listening to music.

I have a genuine passion for teaching and mentoring. At university, I have worked as a Teaching Assistant and marker for a first-year business course, and as a Peer Mentor guiding student teams through a business strategy simulation. These experiences have taught me how to break down complex ideas into simple, manageable steps and to adapt my approach to each student’s learning style. I am passionate about helping students see that academic success comes from building the right skills, strategies, and study habits, not from innate ability alone. I feel confident tutoring Accounting, Economics, Business Studies, and Mathematics, as well as supporting students with essay writing, exam preparation, and study planning.

I consider myself a friendly, patient, and organized person who loves creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment. I look forward to helping students grow their confidence and reach their academic goals!
