Ardra Namboodiri

Kia ora! My name is Ardra, and I’m currently doing my PhD in Microbiology at Auckland University of Technology. Before this, I completed my Bachelor’s and Master’s in Biomedical Science, where I developed a strong passion for microbiology and infectious diseases. I’ve always loved exploring how science works, and I enjoy sharing that excitement with others.

As a tutor, I focus on making learning fun, clear, and easy to understand. I know subjects like Biology and Chemistry can sometimes feel overwhelming, so I like to break them down into simple steps and connect them to real-life examples. I offer tutoring up to NCEA Level 3 in Biology and NCEA Level 1 in Chemistry. I’m also happy to support Cambridge students, tutoring IGCSE Biology and Chemistry.

I believe everyone learns differently, so I tailor lessons to each student’s style. My goal is to create a supportive and encouraging space where students feel confident asking questions, building their understanding, and enjoying the learning process.
