Diya Soni

Hello! My name is Diya, and I’m currently in my second year at the University of Auckland, studying a conjoint in Commerce and Global Studies, majoring in accounting, commercial law and international relations and business. I completed my schooling at Botany Downs Secondary College, where I developed a strong interest in business and accounting.

As a tutor, I’m passionate about helping students understand the “why” behind accounting, not just the numbers, so they can understand and retain concepts easier. I aim to make learning clear, engaging and practical by breaking down tricky concepts and relating them to real-world examples. I offer tutoring for NCEA Level 1, 2, and 3 Accounting, helping students build confidence and develop a deeper understanding of the subject.

My goal is to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and challenging themselves. I believe that with the right guidance and mindset, every student can succeed in Accounting.
