Angelina Prem
I'm Angelina, a first-year Biomedical Science student at the University of Auckland with a strong academic foundation from Mount Albert Grammar School. During my NCEA studies, I achieved Merit and Excellence endorsements across Statistics, English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, along with subject scholarships and academic awards that reflect my dedication to learning.
At university, I've continued to excel academically, earning A+ grades in both Chemistry and Biology courses, which built seamlessly on my NCEA knowledge. Beyond academics, I'm actively involved in university life as a class representative for three of my courses and run the puzzles page for the UoA student magazine, combining my love of problem-solving with creative communication.
In my spare time, I enjoy hands-on creative pursuits including crocheting, painting, guitar and baking. These hobbies have taught me patience, attention to detail, and the satisfaction that comes from guiding a project from start to finish – skills I believe translate well to tutoring.
I'm passionate about helping students build confidence in science subjects and look forward to sharing my enthusiasm for learning.
