Kevin Yang

I am currently studying at Victoria University of Wellington, doing a Master’s in Intercultural Communication and Applied Translation. I also completed my Bachelor’s degree in Arabic in Shanghai, where I built a strong foundation in languages and communication.

I speak both English and Mandarin fluently, and I also have experience in Arabic translation. I enjoy working with languages, and I always try to make learning feel simple, clear, and not stressful.

I have been teaching English and IELTS for over two years, working with students from different backgrounds. In my classes, I don’t just focus on “getting the right answer”, I care more about helping you actually understand it. I like breaking things down step by step, and I’m always happy to explain something again in a different way if needed.

I’m pretty patient, easy-going, and I like creating a comfortable learning vibe. You don’t need to feel nervous in my class, mistakes are totally fine, that’s how we improve.

My goal is simple: help you understand, improve steadily, and feel more confident using English in real life and exams.
