Kaitlyn Clarey

Kia Ora, my name is Kaitlyn and I am one of the tutoring coordinators in Dunedin. Originally from the Manawatu, I made the move to Dunedin in 2022 to complete a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Neuroscience, which I graduated from in May 2025. 

Throughout my time at university, I found passion in exercise and health and are just completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Sport, Exercise and Health, with a clinical focus, before pursuing my Master's next year. 

This is my third year working at Tolcarne Boarding Residence as a House Supervisor where I have built strong relationships with the girls.  

As a tutoring coordinator, it is my role to be the link between Tolcarne, Otago Boys, John MacGlashan and Hazlett ensuring each student is paired with a knowledgeable tutor, coordinating tutoring sessions around the students' busy schedules, and acting as a facilitator between students and tutors to ensure maximal learning opportunities and enjoyment.
